What are Profhilo and Microbotox? Bioremodeling, Skin Tightening, and Pore Refinement
Stimulating four types of collagen via thermally stabilized hybrid hyaluronic complexes, Profhilo and intradermal Microbotox refine pores and restore youthfulness.
Key points
- Profhilo Bioremodeling: Not a dermal filler; thermally cross-linked high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid diffusing across the 5 Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP).
- Microbotox Action: Intradermal micro-droplets target the papillary dermis and sebaceous pilosebaceous units without freezing motor muscles, shrinking enlarged pores.
- Clinical Protocols: Profhilo requires 2 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart; synergy with Microbotox creates an ultra-smooth, hydrated "glass skin" aesthetic.
Bioremodeling Science: The 5-Point BAP Injection Technique
Profhilo comprises high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid cooperatively fused via patented thermal processing without chemical BDDE cross-linkers. Using the Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) protocol, micro-boluses are deposited at 5 anatomically safe facial landmarks per side, distant from major neurovascular trunks. The fluid spreads autonomously through interstitial planes, upregulating gene expression in fibroblasts, keratinocytes, and preadipocytes, stimulating collagen types I, III, IV, and VII alongside elastin.
Microbotox (Mesobotox) vs Classical Neuromodulation
While standard neurotoxin therapy targets deep musculature to immobilize contractions, Microbotox utilizes micro-diluted botulinum toxin suspended in saline or mesotherapy multivitamins, injected intradermally into the papillary dermis. Motor muscles remain functional. By modulating cholinergic receptors in eccrine sweat glands and sebaceous units, it curtails sebum overproduction, diminishes pore caliber, and erases fine dermal crepey lines.
